Is my search activity private?

SternBench does not keep its own server-side search history or query cache within the application, and does not maintain a page-by-page browsing history of the cases you view. Search queries are processed by Google Vertex AI Search to return results. Google Cloud also processes separate service data and technical-operational information under its Cloud Privacy Notice. SternBench retains only limited account, security, rate-limit, attribution, and aggregate daily usage metadata needed to operate and protect the service. Users should not enter personal, confidential, or other sensitive information into the search bar.

Do I need to create an account?

No. You do not need an account to search. Firm login is only needed for unlimited firm access after your firm has been onboarded.
