Stern Bench does not keep its own server-side search history or query cache within the application, and does not maintain a page-by-page browsing history of the cases you view. Search queries are processed by Google Vertex AI Search to return results. Google Cloud also processes separate service data and technical-operational information under its Cloud Privacy Notice. Stern Bench retains only limited account, security, rate-limit, attribution, and aggregate daily usage metadata needed to operate and protect the service. Users should not enter personal, confidential, or other sensitive information into the search bar.

No. You do not need an account to search. Firm login is only needed for unlimited firm access after your firm has been onboarded.
